There is so much to see and do in Nimbin. We have a very diverse culture in this pristine part of the Northern Rivers and we welcome you to our wonderfully eclectic village for your short or longer stay here with us. There are some great new eateries in Nimbin such as Terra at the Bowling Club and Armonica Cafe in the heart of town opposite the Post Office.
Both of these venues have great food. The Bowlo has an “open mic’” night every second Wednesday so you can grab your guitar and head on down and entertain the locals with a few tunes. There is always a great assortment of talent on show at those nights and a VERY enjoyable combo of food and music to be sampled.
Nimbin is one of those iconic Aussie villages that has been transformed in many ways since the days of the original Aquarius Festival back in the 1970′s. there is a great sense of community spirit in the village, and exemplified by the twice weekly grower’s markets that occur in the car park beside the Post Office from 3pm – 6pm on Wednesdays and also at Blue Knob hall every Saturday from 8am onwards.
